While I'm more of a fauna person than a flora person, occasionally there is an interesting flower that catches my eye. Deb tends a bit towards the opposite from me, so no matter where we are there is almost always something for at least one of us to look at. (Of course, not all plants have flowers.) Here are a few of the better flower pictures we have taken.

I came across this bright specimen on a sunny afternoon in Denver, August of 2002. The translucent petals are a nice effect.
